NEWMAN UNIVERSITY RENAISSANCE FAIRE April 26,27 (student day April 25th)
Wichita, Kansas. This will be my first time at this faire. Should be fun!
HAFLA AT THE FUTURE OF TRADITIONS STUDIO May 2. Asheville, North Carolina
An evening of belly dancing and music... and comedy juggling! A fun time will be had by all! There will also be merchants, food, and wonderful people. Come and watch wonderful dancers and dance yourself too!
MOUNTAIN RENAISSANCE ADVENTURE FAIRE May 3,4 in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. This very new faire is in one of the best towns on Earth. Asheville is a great place with an amazing amount of cultural life. I have always enjoyed my visits there. It's the home town of my good friends at The Future of Traditions Center for Folkloric Arts . They have a wonderful studio where they teach yoga, bellydance, and many other things, check them out!
SPECIAL FEATURE!!! JUGGLING CLASSES!!!
Because I will be in the North Carolina/Tennessee area the entire month of May, I am offering Juggling classes at The Future of Traditions studio. Once a week each Thursday night from 7:30 - 9 pm. We're offering a place that jugglers can come and have a nice indoor studio to juggle in for a couple bucks, and for those who wish to learn juggling from me can pay a few dollars more for group lessons. After the basic course, I will be open to teach advanced tricks and juggling techniques to those that wish to learn.
TENNESSEE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL May 10,11,17,18,24-26, Arrington, Tennessee. I'm performing for the entire faire except the first weekend (as I will be in Asheville). This will be my first time at this excellent festival. Another chance to see many of my friends on the circuit, and meet new friends as well!
COLORADO RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL June 28,29. Performing the Paolo Garbanzo show for a guest weekend at this beautiful faire. Come on out, see the show and let them know you'd like to have me back next year!
WESTERN MICHIGAN RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL July 3,4. My good friend Queen Bea got me in touch with this faire and I'm thrilled to be performing for them this year.
BRISTOL RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL July 12, 13 (juggling stage show), July 19, 20 (street), Wisconson. Performing two guest weekends this year, the first weekend I will be performing the Paolo Garbanzo Juggling Show, the next weekend I will be playing music in the streets of the faire with my mandolin and hurdy gurdy. A guest weekend is a live audition of sorts, they gauge the reaction of the audience to determine if they would like to have me there for a longer run the next year. So come on out and root for your favorite juggler (hopefully that's me!).
PENNSIC XXXII August 2 - 12 NEW CASTLE, PENNSYLVANIA. This is the biggest SCA event in the US. I'll be teaching classes at the Coxcomb Academy, as well as performing at various camps while I'm there, but then I have to leave early for the Edmonton Fringe! Pennsic runs the 2nd to the 17th.
EDMONTON FRINGE FESTIVAL August 14 - 24 Edmonton, Canada. Edmonton is one of the biggest Fringe festivals on the circuit! I was lucky enough to win a spot on the outdoor stage this year. Almost one million people attend the ten day festival of avante garde theatre and amazing street performing.
KING RICHARD'S FAIRE Weekends beginning Aug. 30 thru Oct. 19 - Including Labor Day and Columbus Day Mondays, Carver, Massachusetts (about 40 minutes south of Boston). One of my favorite faires and places to be in September! Top quality entertainment including a big cat show (whom I'm sharing a stage with this year).
