Muncaster Castle, home to the Pennington family for 800 years, and home to the historical Tom Foole (Tom Skelton). Each year Muncaster hosts the International Jester Competition to determine who will be the Honorary Jester of England and Official Foole of Muncaster for one year. Paolo Garbanzo won this prestigious honor during the 2007 Jester Competition and will return to Muncaster to emcee the 2008 competition. Although he will relinquish his title of Jester of England at the end of the competition, Paolo will always carry the title Fool of Muncaster.
